Some positive news from elsewhere in the world. Last week Food Made Good Hong Kong was selected as one of 79 semi-finalists for The Rockefeller Foundation #FoodVision2050 award. The team were shortlisted from an impressive 1,319 entries, from over 100 countries. The award recognises the passion and vision of the HK team in working to transform the sustainability of Hong Kong’s food system. We have always believed in the transformative potential of the Food Made Good programme so it’s great to see such a recently launched business get so far in the award. By 2050 FMG HK wants to normalise food sustainability, by working closely with chefs, restaurants, suppliers and producers as well as academics and policy makers their aim is to help make Hong Kong the greenest food city in Asia, and we have a lot of confidence that they’ll get there! Read FMG HK’s Food Vision here.
