UK hospitality offers to assist in the rapid roll out of the vaccine

As the UK and many other countries start the new year with increasingly tight lockdown restrictions in place, the outlook for hospitality is yet again grim. However this hasn’t stopped many businesses from coming forward to offer their premises to help with vaccine roll-outs. As Kate Nicholls, CEO of UK Hospitality highlights, “Our sector is sitting on well-ventilated, Covid-secure spaces such as hotels, conference centres, pubs and restaurants which can be used, and businesses are already coming forward to offer locations to expedite a mass-vaccination programme.” Despite being hit particularly hard by the Covid-19 crisis, it is once again heartening to see the sector step up in unexpected ways to help not only local communities but also play a role in getting the wider economy back on its feet as soon as possible.
